Today we have discovered a fantastic walk around the local area called Fenetre Sur Plaine.
This is a series of circular walks around the village and the vast protected area known as the “Plaine”.
The walk passes immediately past Chalet Le Dragon, with a sign-post in the front garden! There are numerous view points of Dents du Midi / Mont de Grange and other surrounding peaks, picnic stops, areas to rest, information points, flowing rivers, flora and fauna and abundance of wild birds and animals.
The complete circuit takes around 3 hours but as you pass several of the local restaurants you can be forgiven for taking a little longer!
